The New PUTW Harmonium System
Used and endorsed by Dave Stringer and numerous other players, the PUTW Harmonium system is designed to fit nicely into existing instruments with minimal modifications. It delivers accurate and pleasant full range tones. Three high sensitivity condenser microphone capsules are mounted into a Maple strip that sits just under the baffle plate at the rear of the instrument above the bellows. The capsules are down firing and result in a very balanced clear tone that is dynamically responsive and highly feedback resistant. The system includes a dedicated Class A pre-amp that features a volume control, a buffered 1/4" TRS (TS) output, and a 800 hour battery life (9 volt Alkaline). The system includes a high quality 2 foot cable that connects from the mic array to the pre-amp input.

Erhu
PUTW's Erhu pickup is a super thin, flat, semi rigid sensor that is compressed against the head by the bridge feet. The jack mounts to the side of the instrument with adhesive clips. This pickup is passive and a Line Driver preamp (or similar preamp) should be used.

The PUTW Dual Element Kora System
After a ton of R&D work, this premium active system was developed to offer the best tonal richness and feedback resistance possible for the Kora, and it is done in a compact, non-invasive manor. The internally mounted Kora system uses two sensors, one on the head, one on the shell, and preamps these two signals together into a rotary blending pot and a master volume. The Kora system features a three stage class A preamp (that runs on a 9 volt battery), two pickups, two controls, an output jack, and virtually everything needed to install the system with or without modifications.

Sarod
Our Sarod pickup is mounted externally using a flat, super thin, semi rigid strip that slips under the base of the bridge. The jack mounts to the side of the instrument with adhesive clips. This pickup is passive and a Line Driver preamp (or similar preamp) should be used.

Saz
PUTW's Saz pickup is a flat, super thin, semi rigid strip that is compressed against the soundboard by the base of the bridge. The wire follows the strings back towards that tailpiece, and the output jack mounts to the side of the instrument with adhesive clips. This pickup is passive and a Line Driver preamp (or similar preamp) should be used.

PUTW's Sitar pickup is in use by many of the top contemporary players. The pickup uses a single film sensor that is mounted on the soundboard between the two feet of the primary bridge. This position captures the balance of the primary and sympathetic strings perfectly, and the sound is very natural and feedback resistant. The output jack can be mounted internally by a skilled tech, or externally using clips positioned in the bottom hollow of the gourd. This pickup is passive and a Line Driver preamp (or similar preamp) should be used.
