Raymond RedFeather (Ojibwa) one of the most highly regarded Native American flute makers and flautists in the nation. Raymond embraces the principals of perfect harmony and function in all of his work, and was recently presented with a Golden Flute Award, placing second in the Flute Echoes Flute Making Competition in Florida. Raymond served as a privilidged apprentice to master flute maker Michael G. Allen (popularly known as Coyote Old man). Raymond hand crafts each of his own flutes with the greatest attention to sound and design.
Raymond's recently completed CD entitled "Cedar Roots" and his new flute making video titled "Working with heart of the wood Vol.1" have received sensational reviews.
Raymond has served for over nine years as a traditional Native American dancer. It is his wish that through his work he may act as a vehicle to inspire others to express their heart's and creativity through music and the Voice of the Wind.
