This five string fretted bass was completed about six years ago, and features solid body halves cut from some of the curliest Big Leaf Maple I've ever seen or worked with. The neck is Rock Maple with Wenge stringers, and features a double action truss rod and graphite spars. The electronics are comprised of two EMG magnetic pickups and a polymer film pickup in the bridge. I can't remember exactly what all the controls do, but it covered quite a broad range of tones that all sounded quite good before it was shipped off to a happy owner in Washington state.
