This includes a film size that closely fits conventional Irish Bouzouki and Citern bridges. The output jack uses an adhesive clip that mounts to the top of the tailpiece or to the soundboard next to the tailpiece.

The PUTW Custom Bouzouki Kit:
This kit includes a paper-thin film element that slips invisibly under the bridge feet. The output is rich, dynamic, and full of overtones and harmonic content. The natural acoustics are not affected, and the tone is punchy and quite feedback proof. The body sensing aspect keeps the sound from being overly 'stringy', yet the tone has a nice smooth attack. We build these pickups to fit the exact dimensions of the bridge feet. For double footed bridges, they can be ordered in either mono or stereo versions. When ordering, specify single or double-footed bridge and the length and width of the contact surfaces. Comes prewired to a standard guitar style end pin jack with included adhesive backed jack clips for tailpiece mounting. A custom made oversized Carpenter Jack may be purchased for an additional $25.00 for a more elegant jack mounting method. The Carpenter jack is usually mounted to the rim just below the tailpiece, and a dimension for the thickness should also be provided for the best fit. Turn around time to build custom sizes is about one week.
