One of my greatest pleasures in life is locating interesting pieces of wood and crafting them into musical works of art. In much of the same way that musicians are guided and inspired by the songs that flow through them, I find the same sense of joy in building musical instruments. What begins as a simple concept in my mind quickly grows to the point where it takes on a life of its own and guides my hands and consciousness through to completion. My work as a builder is to refine each piece until everything flows together into a harmonious & balanced whole. These pages represent only a small sampling of my work.
